Holiday Harn-a-Vest's are available now. Introducing the new Harn-a-Vest and Harn-a-Dress. The Harn-a-Vest is just what the name says, a combination harness and a vest. They are totally reversible, giving dual purpose plus saving $$ on multiple Harn-a-Vests or Harn-a-Dresses, except for the summer weight and t-shirt or Onesie styles. Pictures show both sides, side by side, usually a coordinating blend with one side being "doggie" oriented and the other a print, solid or patriotic design. As long as I have a coordinating safety/reflective trim, most will have this added for protection. The Harn-a-Dress is a Harn-a-Vest with a skirt added to make the girls look more dainty. Custom orders will be made as time and fabrics allow. Posted are some samples of fabrics that can be ordered at this time. When ordering or buying your Harn-a-Vest or Harn-a-Dress, please know the girth (around the chest behind the front legs at the fullest point), neck (same as collar size) and length...the distance of the top back line desired. Aqua check shimmery cotton with ribbon & reflective tape reverses to primary colored plaid with paw prints trimmed with ruffles & reflective tape. Pink hearts on pink with pink princess crowns glittery fabric on reverse. Reflective tape on both sides.
Lavender snake embossed fabric with multicolored lacey fabric on reverse. No reflective tape added. Fancy dogs with hints of color in collars or coats, dog bone trim down center, reversed with music note print & reflective tape on one side only. Multi dog breed print with gold trim & reflective tape reversed with fall print with gold flecks in fabric & trim plus reflective tape. Tan pillow ticking print fabric with blue stripes & small hearts reversed with multi dog breed print & reflective tape on both sides. Pink & red doxies reversed with red bandana printed hearts trimmed with reflective tape. Red bandana printed hearts reversed with pink & red doxies featuring full eyelet skirt, eyelet ruffles & reflective tape. Blue, red & white bandana print reversed with multi-breed dogs on red background, reflective tape on both sides. Black skirted "dress" with multi-colored paws reverses to pink hearts trimmed with eyelet & reflective tape. These are designed and hand made, one at a time, by Sharon. Construction is very well done with interfacing inside both sides of the totally reversible Harn-a-Vest and Harn-a-Dress. There is a strong secure D-ring on both sides to attach a leash for walking your favorite pooch. These are secured with Velcro at both the neck and under the tummy. Although these are very strong, it is suggested that the dog be trained to walk in the Harn-a-Vest prior to taking him/her out in public where he/she may lunge breaking the contact of the Velcro. I have personally tested them with our own dogs and am able to pick up our dogs with just the D-ring so know they are quite secure.
These are designed and sized for small dogs taking into consideration the removal of pressure on the trachea caused by normal leashes or harnesses. Dogs are less frightened or stressed using a Harn-a-Vest since they are not being threatened by a collar or pressure on the neck and throat. It also is great for longer bodies dogs such as the dachshunds and gives additional support for their backs. Pictures will be added as new print designs are added. Prices (Wholesale) for current Harn-a-Vests only are from $35 and up depending on detail and prices of fabrics used. Harn-a-Dresses are $35 minimum. Matching Leashes may sometimes be ordered to coordinate with Harn-a-Vests or Harn-a-Dresses. Prices vary. Some of my fabrics are over $10 per yard making those Harn-a-Vests or Harn-a-Dresses more expensive. Prices do not include shipping and handling. College Logo outfits now available if I can find the baby t-shirt or "onesie" in the right theme. If you have one that you want altered, I can do that, too.
